Street vs Buckland Athletic preview

Street home to early season pace setters this evening

Terrific game in prospect tonight as Street welcome Buckland Athletic to the Tannery Ground. Buckland secured a 4th place finish last season and have started the season very well, wining their first five games. The two teams last met back in March when Ben Amghar salvaged a point for the Cobblers in an all action game, nothing between the two sides on that occasion and a tight game is expected again this evening.

Street will be looking to put two league defeats behind them and after Saturday's much improved performance which saw the returning Lewis Tasker(pictured) score an excellent free kick, Rich Fey and his men will be confident of a positive result tonight. A frustrated Fey says "We played Odd down and Willand in the last two games, both will be challenging come end of season and have signed good players in the summer. With suspensions and unavailability not helping us we cannot get our strongest 11 out yet but hopefully soon holidays, weddings etc will be over and we will have everyone to choose from. We aren't used to this after last season success but it's only two losses and I feel we are not far away"

Come and support the team this evening with the match kicking off at 19:30, bar open from 18:30.

Opportunity to sponsor tonight's game still exists please contact James Court(07780008645) or James Vickery(07792866367) for details.

Up the Cobbs!
