Friday night football at the Tannery - Match Ball Sponsor: Roger Palmer
The Cobblers are in Les Phillips Cup action this Friday night as we welcome Bradford Town to the Tannery Ground. The teams met in the league almost three weeks ago and a brilliant end to end game saw Street edge out their opponents 2-0 with goals by Steve Murray and Josh Wadham and with it take Bradford's unbeaten league record.
A competitive game awaits bewteen two very in form teams, a contest manager Rich Fey is looking forward to "Both teams will be expecting a hard game but I’m just happy to play a home fixture after playing 8 out of the last 9 away. We’re on a great run and the squad has been used to its max with unavailability, injuries and suspensions so we will be looking to do the same again Friday"
Come out and support the boys, bar will be open from 18:30, a great way to spend a Friday night. Happy hour in play with Carling, Thatchers Gold and Thatchers Haze all £2:50 a pint right up until kick off(19:45) for all those early birds to the game!
