Street vs Clevedon Town preview

November 23, 2017

Match Ball Sponsor: West Quay Records

Street's league form is hard to ignore at the moment after winning the last 8 league games and scoring 29 goals in the process a run that has took the Cobblers to the summit of the Western League Premier Division. A fine run it is but with still over half the league programme to play and a testing run of fixtures on the horizon the challenge to stay there certainly doesn't get any easier.

One of those fixtures is Clevedon Town, a tight affair in the corresponding fixture last season with goals by Nath Rudge and Ben Amghar sealing all 3 points in a narrow 2-1 win. The visitors come to the Tannery Ground on the back of a 4-2 midweek win against Wellington so confidence in thier camp will be high.

Manager Rich Fey is expecting a tough game "No game is easy in this division and teams certainly make it hard for us and Clevedon Town will be no different.  We are picking up some knocks at the moment and all the squad will be used in the coming games but we are in good form and confidence is high. I'm hoping for a big crowd, it does make a big difference, the home support has been excellent this season"

Saturday 25th November, kick off is 15:00. Thank you West Quay Records for sponsoring the game!
