Western League Convention

The Western League Convention was held in Plymouth on Saturday evening and a fantastic evening was had by all. It was not only a chance to celebrate a marvellous season but also an opportunity to say goodbye to league officials and other clubs as we embark on our Southern League adventure.

Cobbler contingent......Clive Kemmish, James Court, Carly Court, Terri Fey, Rich Fey, Ant Cornish, Lisa Cornish, James Vickery

Congratulations to Rich Fey who picked up the 'Premier Division Manager Of The Year' award. Rich was keen to note the contributions of his backroom team “Saturday was a great evening and to top it off winning the manager of the year was personally brilliant. I must add I couldn’t have won this without Rudgie (Nathan Rudge) who has been brilliant this season and we work well together, Ant Cornish making sure the lads are fit to play and getting injured lads back, Kevin Hurd who has made a real difference with goalkeeper Punchy this season and Joe Moore when he came in at the end of season, Graham Rudge, Roy Sandford and Mike Lewis who look after the kit for training and match days. To be successful you must have things run professionally and as a club we do this and we’re all looking forward to visiting some different grounds and facing a big challenge in a new league. I will be adding some mouth watering pre season fixtures soon and am looking to pre season training already"
