Away trip for Cobblers in the FA Cup
Street are in FA Cup action tomorrow as they travel to Devon to play Willand Rovers in what looks an interesting match up. Last seasons 7-1 defeat to our former Western league opponents in the FA Vase still fresh in many minds but that proved to be the catalyst for our terrific run last season. Always take the positives!
A new season and both teams have started their respective league campaigns very well and are in good form. Street are selecting from a fully fit squad but manager Rich Fey is well aware of the challenge that awaits "It will be very tough tomorrow. Willand had a great 2017/18 season and have started this season on fire with some excellent results. I feel we’re going there as underdogs as they have already played five competitive fixtures and we’ve only played two and to add to that we had a very tough game away on Wednesday night while they had week free so our squad will be certainly used. We are hoping we can put a good performance in that the travelling supporters are happy with and try to stay in the hat"
Kick off is 15:00 and hope to see many Cobb fans make the trip down the M5!
Up The Cobbs!

Street forward Steve Murray has started the season in great form with 2 goals in 2 games
