Bank Holiday Football at the Tannery
Street continue their Southern League campaign this afternoon as we welcome are near(ish!) neighbours Paulton Rovers to the Tannery Ground. Street have had an encouraging start to life at this level and will be looking to carry on that momentum into todays game.
Both teams recorded narrow FA Cup victories on Saturday so confidence will high in both camps and manager Rich Fey is fully aware of the challenge that awaits his team this afternoon "The games are coming thick and fast and after a deserved win in FA Cup we now have a local derby against Paulton. They are a side that will be looking to finish top 5 so it will be a great test for us and one we’re all looking forward too. Let’s hope the fans come out and support the lads and the club as they all deserve it"
After our FA Cup game on Saturday, Willand Rovers made a contribution to this inspirational charity appeal in support of one of their coaches and his family. Street themselves will be holding a collection themselves during todays game to support this so please give generously . Hope to see many fans turn up today in what should be a bank holiday cracker! Bar and turnstiles open from 13:30, Up The Cobbs!
