Plymouth Parkway vs Street Preview

Excitement builds for FA Cup game

It has reached the FA Cup first round qualifying stage and following Street's 2-1 win over Willand Rovers the Cobblers were rewarded with another trip to Devon this time to face Plymouth Parkway.

Plymouth Parkway have made a flying start to their debut Western League campaign winning four out of the first 5 games and also have form over Southern League opposition when they beat Larkhall Athletic in the previous round. The Cobbler supporters(who have been fantastic!) have witnessed their side perform very well so far this season and will be hopeful of another good performance.

Manager Rich Fey is optimistic but fully aware of the challenge that awaits his side "I’m really looking forward to tomorrow. It’s going to be a great test for us against a team that have already beaten higher opposition in last round. They have got a Southern League squad and are at home so we need to be at our best to stay in the hat. We are without Leigh Bailey, Jamie Short, and Dave O’Hare but we have enough cover and have good support making the trip which will help us"

We have only 3 spaces left on the coach, please contact Clive Kemmish on 07958662006 if you would like to make the trip to support the team. Meeting at 10:30 for a 10:45 leave. Cost is only £10!
