Cinderford Town vs Street preview

Street in FA Trophy action

Following Street’s excellent away win at Thatcham last Saturday, the Cobblers are on their travels once more with a tough trip to Cinderford this time in the FA Trophy which has reached the first round qualifying stage.

Cinderford ran out comfortable 5-0 winners at home to Moneyfields in the last round whilst Street put in a great performance to come away from Bideford with a 3-2 win thanks to goals from Foster, Ormrod and McErlain.

The two sides have already met in the league this season with Cinderford winning the tightest of games and manager Rich Fey is expecting another tough game “We know how tough Saturday is going to be. We were there only a couple weeks ago and didn’t deserve to lose 1-0 but that shows how far we’ve come in a short space of time. This is a great competition to be involved in and we have a full squad for the first time since the beginning of the season apart from Steve Murray who could play a part but has only just returned to training. The support that’s travelling again is excellent and it’s a day everyone can look forward to”

Supporters coach is leaving at 11, only a few spaces still available contact Clive Kemmish on 07958662006 if you would like to come and get behind the team! Leaving at 11am.
