Cobblers on the road again
Following this weeks venue switch Street travel to Hampshire to take on high flyers Blackfield and Langley in what promises to be a an exciting match up. Blackfield and Langley like Street are new to this division and have so far made light work of the step up and currently sit in second place averaging an impressive two points per game. Recent form is very good with wins over Larkhall and Bideford and have only been defeated once at home all season in the league.
A tough assignment for the Cobblers but Rich Fey's men have shown to be very competitive this season and despite last weeks defeat away at Melksham confidence in the camp remains high. Fey "Tomorrow will be tough game, they are second place for a reason and had some great results. We are due to face all the teams in and around the play off positions before Xmas as well as BMF and Winchester who I believe are in a false position in the table. Its a tough run of games and we will know where we are at come the turn of the year. The lads have been excellent this season and long may it continue. Last Saturday 5-3 defeat at Melksham was after the two Weymouth games and I feel wasn’t a true reflection of the result. We were very unfortunate to lose with some individual defensive mistakes and some glaring misses but hopefully with lady luck on our side we will travel back with something tomorrow"
