Street are on their travels with a trip to Hampshire this Saturday when they take on Winchester City. A tough assignment for the Cobblers who lost 2-0 in the reverse fixture back in December and are up against one of the form teams in the division.
Before Saturday's narrow away defeat to Bideford 'The Citizens' were undefeated in 9 games, 7 of which were wins. This run that has pushed them within touching distance of the play offs and with games in hand on Evesham United above them they will be confident of securing a play off birth come the end of the season.
Street themselves are in decent form with only 1 defeat in 7 games and will find themselves a touch unfortunate to not have a few more points on the board after some very encouraging displays. Manager Rich Fey is more them happy with the teams progress "We have 9 games to go and face another team in and around play offs. Last few weeks we’ve been excellent and if we can start taking our chances we have a great chance of finishing in the top ten, which for our first season at Southern League football was unthinkable 12 months ago. We have a couple of niggles but we will assess it tomorrow. On behalf of the management and players we would like to congratulate club captain Ben Amghar on his new arrival!"
Good luck boys, UP THE COBBS!
