Rich Fey and Nath Rudge
Our management team of Rich Fey and Nath Rudge have decided to step down from their roles at the end of the season.
They joined the club at the start of the 2016/17 season and had an immediate impact leading Street to 2nd place in the Western League Premier Division which was the clubs highest ever finish. More success was to follow and they went one better in the 2017/18 season winning the Western League title which included a magnificent 26 match winning run and Rich Fey winning manager of the year. Promotion to the Southern League followed and Street have equipped themselves extremely well this season and look on course for a top 10 finish with 6 games to go.
Manager Rich Fey “Nathan and I are devastated to be standing down at the end of the season. Having informed the lads at training last night it’s unfortunate the club can’t match our ambition and with a degree of uncertainty around roles being filled next season it now gives the chance for a new chairperson and the committee to re-evaluate and time to bring in a new manager. I would like to thank James Court for giving me the opportunity to manage this great club and all the players that has played for me the past 3 years and achieved much success. We have 6 big games now which I want to win them all and finish on a high for the club and you great supporters who have been so supportive since we've walked through the door”
Outgoing Chairman James Court “I completely respect their honesty and understand their reasons for stepping down, its been a tremendous 3 years. Their pushing of standards, passion, drive for success, commitment and of course results have been second to none and they have embraced the club and our supporters from day one. Rich has valid concerns about certain roles not being filled next season and what level the club want to be playing at so the decision was almost made for them. They have agreed to stay on until the end of the season and I’m confident they will do all they can to finish on a high note and hope that the players and supporters will get behind them. Good luck and thank you to them both!”
