Captain Kam Andrews

The first in a monthly series where club captain Kam Andrews looks back at the previous month and looks forward at the month ahead.

At 19 years old my role of Captain has been made fairly easy by the great support of my Vice Captain Ollie Pearson - he has brought great experience to the team & we work well together. We have a fairly young squad - average age of 19yrs collectively & I am really proud to be heading up this hard working, talented team of players. Our pre season training and games has given us a great foundation to start our 2019/20 campaign. We had really positive wins and draws against higher league & seasoned teams.

Our most recent match vs Shepton saw the score line not really reflecting the quality that our team showed. We have had a few starting players missing from pre season & a couple of injuries up top from this game meant we had to restructure our game plan, which wasn’t ideal for the 1st match but showed great strength & character & I am positive that moving forward we will prove that we are contenders at the top of the table for this league.

We hope that with the continued support of the club & fans that this season we will do Street FC proud. Come on you Cobblers !!
