Programme cover Ben Amghar

Match Sponsor: MG Bearings

The Tannery plays host to its final game of an eventful 2018 this Saturday as the Cobblers take on free scoring Cirencester Town in a Evo-Stik League South Division One South fixture. Its the first of four games in a hectic 10 day period that gives the all clubs a real opportunity to make headway in a short space of time with the league table still heavily congested.

Cirencester Town sit in 5th position and are the leagues top scorers by some distance and in Ben Whitehead have the top individual scorer of the division who has so far notched an impressive 16 goals. Street have bounced back well in recent times with two draws in their previous two games with the most recent being a last minute equaliser against high flying Evesham United on Saturday. The game is set up to be a great spectacle for the fans!

Manager Rich Fey "After last Saturday great point in awful conditions at Evesham who are going very well in the league, we now face another play off side in Cirencester Town who again will be looking to at least maintain their league position. We have a few players unavailable because of the time of year but this gives opportunities to others to stake their claim. We have also waived 7 days notice for Lewis Tasker to join Tiverton Town in the league above and we wish him well as he has been excellent servant for this club"

Bar and Turnstiles open from 1pm, kick off is at 3.

UP THE COBBS!

In opposing dug outs on Saturday are two managers that go back a long way with Rich Fey and Charlie Griffin knowing each other from their young Bristol Rovers days! A 14 year old fresh faced Rich Fey seen here collecting a trophy at Twerton Park with Charlie all smiles on the left hand side.
