New signing and keeper extends stay

Street have strengthened their squad with the signing of centre back Sam Hedges. The young defender impressed playing for Paulton Rovers against the Cobblers earlier on in the season and with suspensions kicking in it was an area of the squad manager Rich Fey was keen to address "Sam is a lad I have kept tabs on since he left Bristol Rovers and joined Paulton. He is a good young defender with a physical presence who did well against us this season. With Ben Amghar and Ross McErlain now both suspended we had to strengthen this position and Sam will go straight into squad for our game with Bideford Saturday"

Big welcome Sam!

Street have also once more extended the loan of goalkeeper Liam Kingston. Rich Fey "Liam has been outstanding since he joined us originally on a one month loan. He is willing to learn and listen and Kev Hurd and Tom Punchard have been brilliant with him. Punchy is now back ready to get games but it would be harsh to put him straight in when he's not played for 4 months so we need to get him games and then compete for that number one jersey with Liam and I think it will help both of them. I’m grateful for Macca and Chopper at Weston for allowing this"

Good news!
