Bideford AFC vs Street Preview

A great game in prospect this Saturday as 10th play 11th with Street making the trip to North Devon to play Bideford. Only goal difference separates the two teams with Street having come out on top in the reverse fixture back in October with a 4-1 victory at the Tannery with Butcher, Ormrod and Short on the score sheet that day. Both teams will be familiar with each other having also played twice in separate cup competitions this year with both teams picking up a win a piece.

Bideford are on a great run of form having won 6 out of there last 7 games and scoring 21 goals in the process. The last of those wins being a 3-1 home victory over Bristol Manor Farm.

Street have got themselves back on track recently going unbeaten in 3 games which included 2 clean sheets against Mangotsfield United and Cinderford Town. Manager Rich Fey remains positive despite the squad being stretched "Its a tough game for us and we are certainly facing one of the form teams in the division but we are going their with confidence and I'm pleased with our recent performances. Regular centre half pairing Ben Amghar and Ross McErlain are suspended and we make a late call on Leigh Bailey who has work commitments. It's great to welcome Sam Hedges into the squad for his competitive debut but top scorer Phil Ormrod(injured) is still a couple of weeks away and Craig Herrod remains out on loan to get game time"

The coach is leaving the Tannery at 11:30 please contact Clive Kemmish on 07958662006 to reserve your spot. Please keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter feeds in the morning in case a pitch inspection is required.
